Established in 2003, BAWCS operates as a “no kill” shelter and sanctuary where companion animals and farm animals are given a safe, enriched environment while they wait for loving homes.

  • Farm Animal Sanctuary: Provides long-term care for rescued farm animals who may not be adoptable but still deserve a safe life.
  • Volunteer & Sponsorship Opportunities: Supporters can volunteer, sponsor shelter residents (including special-needs animals) or fund general care.
