Save-A-Dog Scheme (SADS) is a volunteer-based, non-profit, no-kill animal welfare organisation that rescues and rehomes dogs and cats who would otherwise face euthanasia.
All animals receive full veterinary care, including desexing, vaccination, microchipping, parasite treatment, health assessment, and behavioural evaluation.
SADS operates a shelter in Glen Iris and a larger property in Yarrambat designed to house and rehabilitate many animals, especially dogs.
The shelters and rescue groups in Glen Iris are working every day to care for animals in need—and they can\'t do it alone. Whether you choose to adopt, foster, volunteer, or donate, your support helps save lives and build a more compassionate community. Reach out to a local organization today and become part of the change.
