The Albury Animal Care Centre (AACC), located in Hamilton Valley, NSW, is the primary facility for impounded and lost animals in the Albury-Wodonga region. Operated by AlburyCity Council, the centre manages dogs, cats, and even livestock that have been found stray, abandoned, or seized. Beyond its role as a pound, the facility is a vital community hub dedicated to animal welfare, rehoming, and responsible pet ownership education. The centre is currently undergoing a major redevelopment (projected for completion in 2027) to become a state-of-the-art regional facility.
